Astronomical filter manufactured by Kenko, which is designed to reduce the pollution of the night sky with artificial city light. Its use significantly increases the comfort of observation and allows you to restore the natural colors of the night sky photos of suburban landscapes.

The selective spectral characteristics of the filter block the light from mercury and sodium lamps, which are the main source of sky pollution by light. The rest of the spectrum is transmitted, thanks to which it is possible to obtain a natural color scheme of photos in the so-called post-process. As in the first series, both filter surfaces were hardened with a thin protective layer of ion applied in IAD (Ion Assisted Deposition) technology.

In the case of wide-angle lenses, photos may have unnatural colors.
