The FíRIN 20mm F2 FE MF is a compact, super wide-angle, manual, fixed-focus lens that is compatible with full-frame, E-mount mirrorless Sony cameras.

Through the use of two all-glass, precision-pressed aspherical elements and three super-low dispersion elements, aberrations have been reduced to a very high degree, enabling sharper images with greater contrast. The design reflects Tokina's decades of experience and tradition of excellence as an optics manufacturer, combined with the application of new technologies.

Anti-reflective coatings play an important role in the optical performance of the lens. In addition to the fact that all glass elements of the FíRIN 20mm F2 FE MF lens are multi-coated, a significant amount of work was done on the convex surface of the large G1 element. This lens was extremely difficult to coat because of its complex shape. Coatings were even applied to the planes of direct contact between lenses G6 and G7 and G10 and G11. All of these details, which have not been overlooked, add up to reducing unwanted flare and ghosting to an absolute minimum while at the same time increasing the contrast and sharpness of the lens.

Equipping the lens with fully system-compatible electronics, giving you the ability to communicate distance and aperture status simultaneously, allows you to use the latest features of the A7 series such as: 5-axis optical stabilization, manual focus assist (MF Assist) or electronic distance scale. This allows you to take advantage of all the kit's strengths: the lens' superb optical performance and the camera's outstanding image processing and lens data capabilities.
