Triopo GT-3228X8C carbon tripod

GT-3228X8C tripod belongs to the "Traveler" series of professional tripods which feature an exceptional leg folding system allowing to fold legs in a 180° reversed position. The device was made of the new generation carbon fibre which combines low weight and high durability. Its maximum loading capacity of 15 kg seems to be impressive when it is compared with the overall tripod’s weight of 1,3 kg. The legs were divided into four sections with height adjusted by bolts. Each section is separated by a special gasket protecting the tripod against sand, dust and dampness. Spread of the legs may be individually adjusted in the following ranges: 25°, 55° and 80°. One of the legs features a special foam increasing the comfort of shooting at low temperatures. Advanced central column of the GT-3228X8C tripod may be mounted in a reverse position. There is a special holder mounted at the end of the column allowing to add an additional load in order to increase the tripod’s stability. Head mount is equipped in a silicon gasket protecting the tripod’s legs against damage during transportation. The tripod may be additionally easily transformed into a monopod. Just twist one leg off and attach the central column included in the kit to the head. Fully functional monopod is now ready for use. On the photo below, you will find a comparison between legs of GT-228 and its successor, new GT-3228X8C. Currently, legs are much thicker, solid and provide even more stability for the tripod.
