The lens Tokina AT-X 11-20 PRO DX f/2.8 is a dedicated lens that work with APS-C cameras. Thanks to the new optical formula the lens received a much weider focal lenght which reaches from 11mm to 20mm, while increasing the optical quality relative to its predecessor and maintaining constant brightness f/2.8. Obtaining such a wide zoom range and improving the optical parameters was possible thanks to the use of three aspherical lenses reducing spherical aberration. Two of them were made entirely of optical glass, while the third is a hybrid element P-MO.

Apart from them, the optical construction also includes three SD lenses with a very low dispersion coefficient, which effectively reduce the formation of chromatic aberration. The new lens, despite the increased focal length range, has as compact dimensions and weight as its predecessor. Tokina AT-X 11-20 PRO DX thanks to its large and constant light, universal focal range and high optical parameters is an excellent tool for landscape photography, architecture and reportage.
