EIZO EX5 – External Calibration Sensor for ColorEdge Monitors
The EX5 is a precise external calibration sensor designed for EIZO ColorEdge monitors, compatible with ColorNavigator 7 and Quick Color Match software. It enables accurate hardware calibration, ensuring faithful color reproduction without quality loss.
Hardware Calibration and Software Integration
The EX5 connects to the computer via USB and works with monitors connected through USB-C. When using HDMI or DisplayPort, an additional USB connection between the computer and monitor is required. Upon launching ColorNavigator 7 or Quick Color Match, the EX5 analyzes displayed colors and corrects color and brightness deviations. The process is lossless within the monitor's LUT, generating a new ICC profile containing all current settings.
System Requirements and Compatibility
The EX5 operates with Windows 10/11 and macOS Big Sur (11) or later. Supported software includes ColorNavigator 7 (ver. 7.2.1 or later) and Quick Color Match (ver. 7.2.2.11 or later). The sensor is compatible with a wide range of EIZO ColorEdge monitors, including models such as CG319X, CG279X, CS2740, CS2400S, CS230, and many others.
