Step-up adapter for filters and accessories
The Genesis Gear Step-Up 55-62 mm adapts a 55 mm front thread on a lens or tube to a filter, converter or other accessory with a 62 mm thread. It provides a simple way to use accessories of a different diameter without replacing an entire filter set.
How the adapter ring works
The first value in the 55-62 mm designation refers to the lens or tube thread, while the second refers to the accessory thread. Screw the ring into the 55 mm thread, then attach the 62 mm filter or accessory to the ring.
Matching thread sizes
Before ordering, check the thread diameter marked on both the lens and the filter. This version is intended specifically for connecting a 55 mm lens-side thread to an accessory with a 62 mm thread.
