TheIrix Edge 100 86 mm adapter ringis designed to connect theIrix IFH-100filter holder to a lens with aØ86 mmfront filter thread.
As part of the Irix Edge 100 system, the adapter allows rectangular filters to be used without buying a separate holder for every lens. Simply choose the ring that matches the filter thread diameter of the lens you want to use.
For lenses with a 86 mm filter thread
This adapter variant is intended for lenses with a86 mm filter thread. The ring screws directly into the front thread of the lens, after which the Irix IFH-100 holder can be attached.
Before ordering, check the filter diameter marking on the lens or lens cap. TheØ86 mmsymbol indicates that this is the correct adapter size.
One holder for different lenses
The Irix Edge 100 system uses interchangeable adapter rings in different diameters. This means the same IFH-100 filter holder can be used with several lenses by fitting the ring that matches each lens thread.
