Fuji X – native mount

This version uses a nativeFuji Xmount. The Irix Cine 150mm family is also offered in other mounts, letting the lens be matched directly to the camera system used on set.

Metric – focus scale in metres

The Metric version uses a focusing-distance scale in metres. Optically it is identical to the Imperial version, which uses feet and inches.

Full-frame coverage and 8K-ready optics

The lens coversFull Framewith a 43.3mm image circle. Its optical design is prepared for high-resolution capture, including Ultra HD 8K productions.

150mm Tele – precision from 2m to infinity

The Tele version is the Macro model’s twin, but its focus mechanism is redesigned for longer working distances. It is especially precise from2m to infinitymaking it well suited to cinematic portraits, narrative work, documentaries, interviews and distant detail shots.

12 elements in 9 groups

The optical design uses12 elements in 9 groupsincluding 4 HR and 3 ED elements. Chromatic aberration and geometric distortion are kept to a very low level.

T3.0–T22 and 11 rounded iris blades

The iris uses11 rounded bladesto produce smooth bokeh and gentle transitions outside the plane of focus.

Fully manual cine design – no electronics

Focus and iris are controlled mechanically on the lens. There is no autofocus, electronic iris control or EXIF communication.

Internal focusing and precise mechanics

Internal focusing keeps the lens length constant and the front element stationary during focus changes. The focus ring provides a long270°rotation.

Cine-standard Mod 0.8 gears

The focus ring rotates 270°, the iris ring65°and the gears use theMod 0.8standard. The stepless iris range isT3.0–T22.

Irix MMS – magnetic Irix Edge MMS filters

The frontMagnetic Mount System – MMSis compatible withIrix Edge MMSfilters including UV, CPL, ND, Vari ND and Black Mist, enabling very fast filter changes.

86mm filter thread and 95mm front diameter

The standard filter thread is86 × 1.0mmwhile the external front diameter is95mm. This simplifies integration with filters, matte boxes and other cine accessories.

Weather sealing and UV-reactive markings

The aluminium-magnesium housing is built for production use. This version has5 rubber O-rings. Laser-engraved markings use UV-reactive paint for better low-light readability.
