Tokina AT-X 14-20 F2 PRO DX is super-light and wide angled lens with maximum aperture of F2. This means it is the lightest lens produced by Tokina. It was designed for SLR'S for Canon and Nikon brands with APS-C (DX) matrices.
Tokina adds this lightest lens to their series in order to deliver photographers with professional optic quality in reasonable prices. Extremely light lens F2 offers equivalent focal length of 21-30mm. The permament aperture F2.0 has a privew, auto focus and ability to photograph in extremely poor lightning conditions keeping fair measurements and weight of the product.
Tokina 14-20mm F2 has fully new, reserved optical construction, including three aspherical lenses (2 one-element, pressed glass and 1 hybrid P-MO) to ensure even better contrast, sharpness and compensation of spherical aberrations. Additionally four glass lenses SD (Super-low Dispersion) where used with reduced scattering factor - FK01 and FK03 - to correct chromatic aberrations.
The unique switch system Tokinas AF (Auto Focus) /MF (Manual Focus) (One-Tuch Focus Clutch Mechanism) allows the user to switch with ease inbetween AF/MF, by moving the extention tube forward to switch on AF or backward to switch on MF. Furthermore, the lens was designed to every day work with the photographer in different weather and work conditions.
