Irix Cine 45mm T1.5 is a movie lens with 45mm focal length and T1.5 transmittance value. It is designed for filming in Ultra HD 8K resolution. The entire lens system consists of 11 elements positioned in 9 groups, providing a crystalline image, free from geometric distortions and full of the smallest details. In addition, it used, among others four glass elements with a high refractive index, one low dispersion and one aspherical. The whole is complemented by the aperture mechanism, whose 9 rounded blades ensure smooth background blur and smooth adjustment of the lens brightness in the range of T1.5 to T22.

Cine line

The front of the lens is equipped with the Cine Line is also compact in size and low weight, which distinguishes them from competing full-frame movie lenses. Creating them, care was taken not only for high image quality, but also the use of excellent materials. The tube uses a durable and lightweight aluminum and magnesium alloy known from Irix Blackstone lenses. 

Smaller focal length

The focal length of the Irix Cine 45mm T1.5 lens is a special element. Shortened to 45mm compared to the classic "fifty" while maintaining a natural perspective for human sight gives the opportunity to embrace a wider plan. Filming scenes seen through the eyes of the hero forces more frequent focusing, so the effect of "focal length" breathing has been reduced to an absolute minimum.
