      The Nokton III 35mm f/1.2 is the third version of one of Voigtlander's most highly regarded lenses. The new 35 has been significantly slimmed down in relation to the previous version, at the same time retaining excellent optical parameters and operational perfection. The lens, thanks to its high brightness and standard focal length, will be ideal for most applications, both photographic and film.

      The new Nokton's 35mm universal focal length is the golden mean between telephoto and wide-viewing lenses. The slightly wider angle compared to the standard 50mm will find use in film and street photography, reportage or product photography. The 35mm is a classic of its kind. A focal length that will capture both stunning portraits and breathtaking landscapes.

      The Voigtlander 35 mm f/1.2 lens is entitled Nokton. It belongs to a line of super-bright lenses that make it possible to work even with a minimum of ambient light. The aperture ring allows the aperture value to be changed in 1/2 EV increments between f/1.2 and f/22. Such a wide range gives you great control over what is important in the frame and what is just the background of the photo. Depth of field can be as thin as a sheet of paper or extend to almost the entire frame. With a wide-open aperture, the image is sharp in the centre of the frame and plastic at the sides. The paper-like depth of field allows the subject of the picture to stand out from its surroundings, focusing all the viewer's attention on it. When the aperture is closed, focus appears across the entire width of the frame, but the out-of-focus areas still retain their characteristic dreamy look. By closing the 12-blade aperture, beautiful starry reflections can also be achieved in night shots.

      The lens is equipped with a Leica M type bayonet designed for Leica and Voigtlander rangefinder cameras. Using the appropriate bayonet adapter, it can be attached to any Canon R, Fuxjilim X, Nikon Z, Sony E or Micro 4/3 mirrorless camera. The Nokton III 35mm f/1.2 covers the entire 35mm format frame
