Mount and compatibility

A suitable adapter is required for use with mirrorless cameras with a Micro Four Thirds (Micro 4/3) mount (not supplied with the lens).

Optical construction and image quality

The lens was designed with exceptional care. Its optical construction is based on 13 elements in 11 groups. These include one very-low-dispersion ED element, one aspherical optical-glass element and one hybrid aspherical element. The lens elements are coated with multi-layer UMC anti-reflective coatings that provide very good light transmission. The solid body and high build quality, combined with strong optical performance, make the lens an attractive choice for photography enthusiasts.
