The Freeworld S55 has a standard 1/4 ”mounting point. This allows the monitor to be mounted on the camera's shoe, the gimbal holder, and many other places. It is also possible to mount the monitor directly on a tripod or with the use of the attached holder, which also allows the attachment of additional accessories, e.g. a microphone.

The Freeworld S55 monitor is equipped with a sunshade that allows for convenient operation of the equipment even in strong sunlight. The device is powered by separately available SONY NP-F batteries or a dedicated AC adapter.
