Model IL-D150-P + MF12

With its focal length of 150mm and 1:1 scale of reproduction, these are the basic features of the new product that allows comfort working with small objects. Thanks to the possibility of being able to move away from the photographed object, this makes the operation more convenient than using lenses with a shorter focal length. No shadows are cast on the object and it is also possible to use lamps dedicated to this type of photography. When you use a camera with an APS-C sensor, due to the crop factor, the magnification ratio will increase to 1,5:1.

Its fast aperture of f/2.8 facilitates shorter exposure times, while its moderately long focal length of 150mm provides an excellent compromise between the narrow viewing angle desired in macro, advertising and portrait photography, and the convenience of hand-held photography.

The Irix 150mm f / 2.8 Macro 1:1 lens has been sealed in key points (the front element, the Focus Lock ring, the focusing ring and bayonet), making it suitable for use in the harshest of weather conditions such as fog, rain or snow.

The optical design consists of twelve elements – three of which are made of super-low dispersion glass (ED), another four of glass with a higher refractive index (HR), and the whole arranged into nine optical groups. Thanks to this construction, we obtain an  close to zero distortion (at a level of 0.1%).

The Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens is equipped with an internal focusing system (IF) so that the lens does not change its dimensions when focusing, thus maintaining a compact size and better sealing.

This lens is the first model available in the new version with the Dragonfly finish, in which the aluminium frame has been enclosed in an external structure made of aluminium-magnesium alloys and composite elements. The combination of Firefly and Blackstone features gave the lens lightness and solidity while maintaining high mechanical strength and resistance in difficult weather conditions.

The lens has a CPU that allows control of the lens aperture from camera level, and the AE module allows the use of semi-automatic modes (PASM). This solution allows the user to get confirmation of the focus from the camera. An additional benefit is the recording of exposure data in the EXIT format.

Godox Macro Flash MF12 is perfect for macro lighting, which enables you to shoot beautiful and sharp photos of small subjects, like plants, animals, and insects in extremely close distance. It's not only ideal to work individually, but also can serve as a multi-flash solution when several units attach to the mounting ring, forming a ring flash effect or more other flexible light effects as you wish.

The Power Behind the Scene The small flash unit mounted on the stand is exactly what a macro photographer needs. Adjustable head for quick positioning, even extreme close-up range is within its reach. Compact size results in "invisibility", lighting up the object while hiding itself away easily from the frame.

Multi-flash Setup Working as a multiple-flash solution when attaching to the mounting ring, MF12 expands its usage profoundly than the single unit. The combination can handle various scenarios easily, depending on the number of flashes and the way you setup.

Rechargeable Battery The powerful built-in lithium battery supports maximum 500 full-power flashes and 0.01-1.7s recycling time, which guarantees a long-time creation without interruption. When the power runs down, you can easily recharge it through a type-c cable.

Flexibility Helps Perfection Featuring precise control, the multi-flash solution is available to work as a ring flash but far more than that. Instead of illuminating forward only, every flash can rotate to a different angle freely and slide around the mounting ring for correct positioning. Whether to fine-tuning the light effect or to create another light style, MF12 will help to experiment effortlessly until reaching the best effect you need.

2.4G Wireless Control Enables long-distance transmission, adding more flexibility to your shooting. 5 groups with 32 channels each help to prevent disturbance when several wireless systems working together. The transmitter is not included. The set includes adapters for diameters of 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm.
