The new and improved Voigtlander VC Meter II light meter is probably one of the most useful accessories for classic rangefinder cameras. Small, lightweight and easy to use, it will encourage many to take pictures. Note that it is a particularly good choice for 99% of all rangefinder cameras, including Leica M, Nikon, Contax and Canon rangefinders. The VC Meter II is an updated version of the VC Meter I, one of Voigtlander's most popular products.

Exposure lock: the exposure is locked for approximately 10 seconds after the metering button is pressed, or until the button is pressed again. After 10 seconds the light meter will switch off. Exposure reading is much more convenient. The suggested exposure is now on the indicator between the aperture and shutter release time.
The battery cover is much easier and quicker to operate than the screws on the old version.
The foot is adapted to different cameras. It fits well on Leica and many others. For some cameras an adjustment of the foot is required.
