Navigator X Basic is a straightforward manual radio transmitter for the Quadralite X system. It can remotely adjust power on compatible flashes, fire a test flash and control the beep and modelling light, without TTL automation.
In practical use
In practice, the radio system lets you position flashes off camera, split them into groups and change settings without walking to every light. This speeds up portraits, product photography, events and studio work.
Compatibility and generation
The Basic model works only in manual mode within the 2.4 GHz Navigator X system. It does not transmit TTL or HSS and synchronizes up to 1/250 s. Manufacturer data states that it is not compatible with the Stroboss 36 series.
