It features separate buttons for removing the batteries and a battery charge indicator with a four-stage scale. The cable length is 1.2 meters. It comes with a carabiner for hanging the adapter on a tripod, for example. It is possible to mount NP-F970, NP-F770, and NP-F570 batteries.

To operate the lamp, two NP-F batteries must be connected to the adapter. Using only one battery in the adapter prevents the lamp from functioning.
