These filters also work very well as protection for the lens against external factors that could cause damage or dirt. Samyang filters are made from high-quality optical glass from the SCHOTT group, similar to the well-known and respected B+W filters. To ensure high light transmission, they are coated with eight layers of UMC anti-reflective coating. The precisely finished filter surface increases resistance to reflections.
