Hoya UX II UV Filter 58 mm – lens protection and UV reduction

Hoya UX II UV Filter 58 mm combines UV filtering with practical protection for the front element. It is useful for outdoor photography, especially near water, in the mountains and in strong sunlight.

10 anti-reflective layers and water/oil repellency

UX II UV uses 10 anti-reflective coating layers to reduce unwanted reflections and support high light transmission. Its surface repels water and oil, making droplets, fingerprints and everyday marks easier to remove.

UV filtering and everyday protection

UV radiation is invisible but, in some conditions, can reduce the clarity of distant details. The UX filter suppresses this range and, when left mounted, also helps protect the front element from dust and dirt.

Slim aluminum frame and 58 mm thread

The slim aluminum frame reduces the risk of vignetting with wide-angle lenses. This 58 mm version is intended for lenses marked with a Ø58 mm filter thread. Check the diameter printed on the lens or lens cap before purchase.
