The Tokina atx-i 100 mm F2.8 FF MACRO lens is a compact, medium telephoto lens that offers a lightweight construction while delivering high-resolution images, low distortion, and beautiful bokeh effects. It is an excellent tool for macro photographers, portrait photographers, street photographers, and more.
The lens utilizes two aspherical glass elements and two elements with very low dispersion to minimize distortions. This also allows for the reduction of spherical aberration, resulting in sharp images both in the center and at the edges of the frame. The lens has a 55mm filter thread, and its barrel extends without rotating, making it easy to use filters. It also features a focus limiter switch, which aids in focusing during macro photography.
With a minimum focusing distance of 30cm, the Tokina atx-i 100 mm F2.8 FF MACRO lens enables 1:1 magnification, allowing for close-up shots with impressive details. This close working distance makes it easier to capture shy subjects like insects and work with artificial lighting for macro photography
