Tokina ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for APS-C DSLR cameras. It is currently the only lens on the market with an f/2.8 aperture for DSLR cameras of this specification. The focal length range of 11-20mm makes this lens an attractive choice as a complement to standard zoom lenses.

A constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the focal range allows for excellent results in low-light conditions, providing better control over depth of field and the ability to shoot without a tripod, while maintaining a reasonable size and weight of the lens.
To achieve excellent optical performance, three aspherical elements and three elements with very low dispersion were used to minimize distortions, control spherical aberration and astigmatism, while achieving excellent edge-to-edge resolution and high image contrast. A multi-layer anti-reflective coating improves light transmission and minimizes reflections, while a newly developed hydrophobic coating facilitates wiping and cleaning of the front lens surface.
In line with Tokina's tradition, the lens features a compact and durable construction, thanks to the use of multiple metal internal parts, ensuring excellent quality and long-term use in various shooting conditions. Its refined exterior design has been specially developed to match the aesthetics of modern digital SLR cameras.
The ATX-i 11-20mm F2.8 CF lens includes an internal Silent-Drive autofocus motor (SD-M) combined with a precise GMR sensor, allowing for fast and precise autofocus in AF mode. The clutch mechanism on the focus ring enables easy switching between autofocus and manual focus. The overall length of the Tokina ATX-i 11-20mm F2.8 CF lens remains unchanged during focusing and zooming, thanks to the internal focus and zoom mechanism. This also facilitates the use of filters.
With its extremely wide focal range of 11-20mm and a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8, this lens is an excellent tool for the following types of photography: landscapes, group photos, environmental portraits, architecture (especially interiors), automotive photography, weddings, street photography, and astrophotography.
