ND128 – 7 stops of light reduction

A full ND filter darkens the entire frame evenly. ND128 reduces light by 7 stops, giving more freedom to choose shutter speed and aperture.

When should you use ND128?

• long exposures by the sea and lakes

• reducing moving people in architecture scenes

Longer exposures and creative motion

Reducing incoming light makes longer shutter speeds possible and lets motion become part of the image. The final effect depends on ambient light, ISO, aperture and shutter speed.

Optical glass and anti-reflective coatings

The glass surfaces use multilayer anti-reflective coatings that help reduce unwanted reflections while maintaining contrast, sharpness and natural colour rendering.

Nano coating for outdoor use

The hydrophobic and oleophobic Nano coating helps reduce water, grease and fingerprints sticking to the glass, making the filter easier to clean in the field.

Low-profile frame and secure grip

A lightweight low-profile frame with a textured edge makes the filter easier to fit and remove. The low construction is also practical with wide-angle lenses.
