Soft GND for uneven horizons

The transition between the clear and darkened areas is broad and gradual, making Soft GND well suited to mountains, forests, city skylines and architecture.

GND32 – 5 EV reduction

Optical density is1.5with the darkest part reducing exposure by5 EV.

GND32 is the strongest option in this series and is useful when weaker graduated filters cannot sufficiently control an extremely bright sky.

Typical applications

• very bright sky above shaded mountains
• dark forest or valley beneath strongly lit sky
• high-contrast architecture and city skylines
• extremely contrasty landscape scenes

For a perfectly level horizon, a Hard GND can be more precise; Soft is more forgiving when objects cross the skyline.

Position the gradient where you need it

The 100 × 150 mm format lets you slide the filter up and down in the holder, positioning the transition to suit the composition instead of forcing the horizon into a fixed part of the frame.

Optical glass and Nano coating

Both surfaces of the optical glass use multilayer anti-reflective coatings. A hydrophobic Nano coating improves resistance to water and oily marks and makes cleaning easier in the field.

Compatible with 100 mm systems

The filter works with theIrix Edge IFH-100and other suitable holders for 100 mm wide filters.
