Effect character

Silver Soft slightly softens fine detail and light sources while emphasizing cool tones already present in the scene. It does not add an artificial blue cast; instead it enhances the cool character of existing light.

1/8 or 1/4 strength?

The 1/8 version gives a subtler effect. It is a good choice with strong light sources, heavy backlighting or whenever you want to keep the image looking more natural.

For photo and video

The 100x100 mm format is designed for square filter holder systems. Because the look is created in-camera, photographers and filmmakers can judge the final image character while shooting rather than relying entirely on post-production.
