Effect character

Clear Mist diffuses light around bright sources and takes the edge off digital sharpness, but unlike Black Mist it preserves overall contrast and a neutral color balance. The result is clean, calm and cinematic.

1/8 or 1/4 strength?

The 1/8 version gives a subtler effect. It is a good choice with strong light sources, heavy backlighting or whenever you want to keep the image looking more natural.

For photo and video

The 100x100 mm format is designed for square filter holder systems. Because the look is created in-camera, photographers and filmmakers can judge the final image character while shooting rather than relying entirely on post-production.
