Effect character

Black Mist diffuses light around bright sources, slightly softens definition and lowers overall contrast. It creates a classic, timeless look with a subtle vintage character, making it useful for portraits, landscapes and video.

1/8 or 1/4 strength?

The 1/8 version gives a subtler effect. It is a good choice with strong light sources, heavy backlighting or whenever you want to keep the image looking more natural.

For photo and video

The 100x100 mm format is designed for square filter holder systems. Because the look is created in-camera, photographers and filmmakers can judge the final image character while shooting rather than relying entirely on post-production.
