IRND1000 (3.0) cuts light by ten stops. It enables long daylight exposures, motion blur and smooth-water effects; for video it helps maintain the desired shutter speed in bright conditions.

ACCU-ND technology and infrared control

HOYA ACCU-NDtechnology provides even attenuation across visible and infrared light. This helps reduce IR contamination and unwanted colour shifts, which is especially important with stronger ND densities.

The HD MkII IRND series is designed for consistent attenuation across a broad spectral range. This supports stable colour reproduction and predictable results in both photography and video.

16 anti-reflective coatings and strengthened glass

The filter uses16 anti-reflective coatingsand chemically strengthened optical glass. Water- and oil-repellent surfaces make cleaning easier. A lightweight low-profile aluminium frame helps minimise vignetting, while the front thread accepts a lens cap or additional accessories.
