Irix Edge UV Protector SR 67 mm – reinforced lens protection

Irix Edge UV Protector SR 67 mm is a protective UV filter for lenses with a Ø67 mm.

It reduces ultraviolet light and protects the front element. The Super Resistant (SR) version uses reinforced optical glass, double-sided multi-layer anti-reflective coatings and a dirt-repelling Nano coating.

Reduce ultraviolet light

Ultraviolet light is invisible to the human eye, but under certain conditions – especially in mountains and at high altitude – it can affect image contrast and colour rendition. A UV filter helps limit this influence while preserving a natural-looking image.

Extra protection for the front element

The filter adds another protective layer in front of the lens. This is useful for travel and outdoor photography, where equipment is more exposed to dust, dirt, moisture and accidental contact.

Super Resistant – reinforced glass

The SR – Super Resistant series uses reinforced optical glass with increased resistance to mechanical damage, impacts, scratching and internal stress. It is designed for demanding outdoor use.

Nano and double-sided AR coatings

Both glass surfaces feature multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, while the Nano layer repels dirt and makes cleaning easier. This keeps the filter practical in demanding outdoor conditions.

The low-profile frame is made from lightweight, durable aluminium, combining low mass with the toughness needed for everyday photographic use.
