The Hoya PUSH ON 55 mm lens cap is a slip-on cover designed to protect a filter and the front of a lens during storage and transport. It is particularly useful with SLIM filters that do not provide a front accessory thread for a conventional cap.
For SLIM and compatible 55 mm filters
The PUSH ON design slips over the outer edge of the filter.
