Fuji X – native mount

This version has a native Fuji X mount for cameras in the Fujifilm X system.

Metric – focus scale in metres

The Metric version uses a focusing-distance scale in metres. Its optics are identical to the Imperial version, which uses feet and inches.

Full-frame coverage and 8K-ready optics

The lens coversFull Framewith a 43.3mm image circle. Its optical design is intended for high-resolution capture, including Ultra HD 8K productions.

45mm – a natural-looking field of view

The horizontal field of view on full frame is approximately43.6°. A 45mm focal length gives a natural-looking perspective while showing a little more context than a classic 50mm lens.

11 elements in 9 groups

The optical design uses11 elements in 9 groupsincluding 4 HR, 1 ED and 1 aspherical ASP element. Distortion is kept to around 0.5%, helping preserve natural geometry.

T1.5–T22 and a 9-blade iris

The stepless iris runs fromT1.5 to T22and uses 9 rounded blades. T1.5 supports low-light shooting while giving deliberate control over depth of field and bokeh.

Fully manual – no electronics

The lens hasno electronic communication with the camera body. Focus and aperture are controlled mechanically on the lens, giving the operator predictable, repeatable control during a take.

Internal focusing and very low focus breathing

Internal focusing keeps the lens length unchanged and prevents front-element rotation while focusing. Very low focus breathing helps maintain framing during focus pulls.

180° focus, 75° iris and Mod 0.8 gears

The focus ring has a180°rotation and the iris ring approximately75°. Both use standard Mod 0.8 cine gears for manual or motorised follow-focus systems.

Irix MMS and 86mm filters

The front offers an86 × 1.0mmfilter thread plus theMMS – Magnetic Mount System. MMS is compatible with Irix Edge MMS filters including UV, CPL, ND, Vari ND and Black Mist, enabling very fast filter changes.

Weather sealing and UV-reactive markings

The housing uses5 rubber sealsat key points. Laser-engraved markings filled with UV-reactive paint are easier to read in low-light working conditions.
