Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC was designed based on the optical construction of the Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS UMC lens and refers to the latest products of this brand. It's brighteness reaches of T1.5. A characteristic feature of the model is that they work with the follow-focus system, as well as the aperture ring rotated steplessly. Thanks to these modifications, it is possible to precisely and silently operate the focus and depth of field during filming.

The optical construction of the lens is based on a system of 13 elements in 12 groups. It is worth noting that four lenses were made of low dispersion (ED) glass, and two additional are aspherical lenses. Of course, multi-layer anti-reflective UMC coatings were also used, which ensure excellent light transmission. Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC was designed to work with SLRs of the most popular brands equipped with 35mm or smaller format matrices.
