    The Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC is based on the optical design of the Samyang 24mm f1.4 ED AS UMC and follows the styling of the brand’s latest products. Its speed is specified as a T-stop of T1.5. Distinctive features include geared rings compatible with follow-focus systems and a continuously rotating aperture ring. These modifications allow exceptionally precise and silent control of focus and depth of field while filming.

    Optical construction and image quality

    The optical construction of the lens uses 13 elements in 12 groups. Four elements are made of low-dispersion ED glass, while two others are aspherical. Multi-layer UMC anti-reflective coatings are also used to provide excellent light transmission. The Samyang T1.5 24mm ED AS IF UMC was designed for SLR cameras from the most popular brands equipped with 35 mm-format or smaller sensors.
