Optical construction and image quality
The lens was designed with exceptional care. Its optical construction is based on 13 elements in 11 groups. These include one very-low-dispersion ED element, one aspherical optical-glass element and one hybrid aspherical element. The lens elements are coated with multi-layer UMC anti-reflective coatings that provide very good light transmission.
