Control reflections and strengthen colour

Rotating the front ring lets you adjust the polarization effect to suit the scene. The filter can reduce glare on windows and water surfaces and reveal more detail through reflections. It is especially useful for landscapes, architecture, vehicles and product photography.

High-transmission HD polarizing film

HOYA uses a durable UV-absorbing polarizing film that transmits 25% more light than standard polarizing film. The filter factor is 2.2 and the exposure correction is approximately 1 EV, so it loses less light than many conventional polarizers.

16-layer HD multi-coating

The HD anti-reflective multi-coating has a total of 16 layers across both sides of the filter. The surface repels water and oil and is resistant to scratches and stains, helping keep the filter clean during outdoor use.

Ultra-thin wide-angle compatible frame

The aluminum HD frame has an ultra-low profile to reduce the risk of vignetting with wide-angle lenses. The glass is mounted using high-pressure press technology for precise and stable positioning.
