Hoya HRT PL-CIR UV filter 52mm – polarization and UV absorption in one filter

Hoya HRT PL-CIR UV filter 52mm is a circular polarizing filter with UV-absorbing properties for lenses with a 52 mm filter thread. It combines reflection control and richer color rendition with UV absorption, so a separate UV filter is not required.

High-Rate Transparency film – more light

HOYA uses High-Rate Transparency (HRT) polarizing film that passes up to 25% more light than standard polarizing film while maintaining the same polarization effect. This provides about 1/3 EV more light than a typical circular polarizer and can make shooting in lower light more convenient.

Control reflections and enhance color

The filter reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as glass and water. It can deepen blue skies, improve color saturation and reveal more detail in landscape scenes. The strength of the polarization effect is adjusted by rotating the outer ring.

UV-absorbing glass

The HRT filter glass has UV-absorbing properties, making this model a combined CIR-PL and UV filter. It is a practical choice for outdoor, travel and landscape photography when you want reflection control and UV absorption without stacking a second filter.

For landscapes, water, glass and travel

HRT CIR-PL UV is useful for skies, foliage, water surfaces, windows and other scenes affected by unwanted glare. Polarization depends on the angle of the light and the position of the rotating ring, allowing the effect to be tuned for each scene.
