Rotating construction and filter factor 3

The polarizing film sits between two glass elements, while the rotating front ring lets you set its angle relative to the scene. HOYA specifies a filter factor of3for the UX CIR-PL.

Reflection control and contrast

A circular polarizer controls reflections from non-metallic surfaces. The effect changes as you rotate the front ring, so you can tailor it to the scene – from subtle glare reduction to richer skies and greener foliage.

Slim aluminum frame and 37 mm thread

The rotating front ring provides smooth control over the polarization effect. The low-profile aluminum frame has a front thread for a lens cap or another compatible accessory. This version fits Ø37 mm threads.
