Hoya HD MkII CIR-PL 62 mm – control reflections and deepen colors

The Hoya HD MkII CIR-PL 62 mm circular polarizer helps control reflections from water, glass and other non-metallic surfaces. It can also increase contrast and color saturation, especially in blue skies, foliage and landscape details.

High-transparency polarizing film

HOYA uses a high-transparency polarizing film that transmits about 25% more light than standard polarizing film. The filter factor is 2.2 with an exposure correction of about 1 stop. It maintains natural color balance while improving clarity and contrast.

16-layer anti-reflective coating

A 16-layer high-transmittance anti-reflective coating reduces reflections from the filter surfaces. The coating is water and oil repellent as well as stain resistant, making water drops, fingerprints and greasy marks easier to remove.

Low-profile aluminum frame

The lightweight aluminum frame has a low profile to reduce the risk of vignetting with wide-angle lenses. The glass is securely mounted using high-pressure press technology. The 62 mm version is intended for lenses with a 62 mm filter thread.
