16 layers and an ultra-hard nano coating

A total of16 anti-reflective coating layersare applied to both sides of the glass. According to HOYA, the HD nano MkII coating is about200% harderthan common CIR-PL coatings. It is water and oil repellent and resists stains and scratches.

High-transparency polarizing film

The polarizing film provides around25% greater light transmissionthan standard polarizing films while maintaining the same polarization effect. The filter factor is2.2with an exposure correction of about1 EV. The filter maintains natural color balance and provides UV-cut capability.

Slim frame for wide-angle lenses

The low-profile aluminum frame reduces the risk of vignetting. The glass is securely mounted using high-pressure press technology, while the rotating ring allows precise control of the polarization effect. The52 mmversion fits lenses with a 52 mm filter thread.
