Hoya PL-CIR SLIM (PHL) circular polarizing filter 37mm

A circular polarizer controls polarized light reflected from non-metallic surfaces. Rotating the frame can reduce glare from water, glass and painted surfaces while increasing sky contrast and colour saturation.

Practical use

The SLIM version uses a low-profile two-piece rotating frame with a front filter thread. It is useful on lenses where minimizing the risk of vignetting matters while retaining compatibility with a lens cap or another front accessory.
