Light character

The large diffusion surface softens the source and smooths tonal transitions. An inner diffuser evens out the light distribution while the silver lining redirects output towards the diffusion panels.

Construction and handling

The classic ring-and-rod construction can be broken down for transport. A hook-and-loop front collar accepts a matching grid, while the Bowens ring allows the softbox to be rotated relative to the light.

Applications and compatibility

Useful for portrait, product work and large fill sources. The Bowens mount fits studio lights using that standard; with powerful continuous lights, keep the fabric at a safe distance from hot parts of the fixture.
