UV reduction and lens protection

The filter cuts unwanted UV light before it reaches the camera sensor and can help reduce atmospheric haze. At the same time it provides an extra barrier against dust, splashes and accidental contact with the front element.

ANTISTATIC coating – less dust on the surface

The antistatic layer helps reduce attraction of dust and fine particles. Water- and oil-repellent properties plus stain resistance make droplets, smudges and fingerprints easier to remove.

18-layer anti-reflective coating

HOYA optical glass uses an 18-layer Super Multi-Coating to reduce unwanted reflections. The one-piece low-profile aluminium frame helps reduce vignetting and includes a front filter thread.
