Hoya UX UV Filter 37 mm (PHL) – lens protection and UV reduction

The Hoya UX UV Filter 37 mm (PHL) reduces ultraviolet light that can lower apparent clarity in strong daylight. It can also stay on the lens as everyday protection against dust, marks and accidental contact with the front element.

Anti-reflective and water-repellent coating

The UX series combines an anti-reflective coating that supports light transmission with a water-repellent surface that helps droplets and everyday marks release more easily during cleaning.

UV filtering and everyday protection

UV radiation is invisible but, in some conditions, can reduce the clarity of distant details. The UX filter suppresses this range and, when left mounted, also helps protect the front element from dust and dirt.

Slim aluminum frame and 37 mm thread

The slim aluminum frame reduces the risk of vignetting with wide-angle lenses. This 37 mm version is intended for lenses marked with a Ø37 mm filter thread. Check the diameter printed on the lens or lens cap before purchase.
