VOIGTLANDER 40mm F/2.0 SL-II ULTRON is an unusual standard lens, which looks and size resembles "pancake" type of construction - this model has a diameter of 63.6 mm and its length is only 24.5 mm. Despite the compact size, this instrument has an advanced optical system (6 elements arranged in 5 groups) with one aspherical lens. This solution ensures very good image quality and relatively low distortion.

The advantages of this model also includes a 9-blade aperture that allows you to get an interesting effect of blurring the objects outside the depth of field (bokeh). It is worth adding that the lens is equipped with contacts enabling, e.g. control of the aperture from the camera body. Of course, like all constructions with the "Voigtländer" logo, this ULTRON was made very carefully with high quality materials.
